Renovation of both building and electromechanical installations of the building that housed the Customs Office at Chania. More specifically, demolition works of wooden and metal roofs, concrete elements, coatings, non-bearing masonry and suspended ceilings were performed, while asbestos was completely removed. Also, strengthening works of masonry with jointing and cement injections were incurred. Moreover, coating with industrial flooring, investments with tiles and roof insulation were taken place and the facilities of sanitary and the space of the theater square were fully equipped. Regarding electrical installations the water and sanitation supply were replaced, and modern systems of air conditioning-heating-ventilation devices, fire protection, security and elevator were installed.
