Road connection of the North and South section of the island, without passing through the town of Chios, thus contributing to reduction of traffic congestion. The bypass road, was accomplished for the development of the wider region and the countryside, by moving  long-distance traffic outside the city. The project was designed and constructed to achieve the purpose of the movement but also be aesthetically perfect, with the full integration of the natural and human environment in the best possible way, optimizing in this way the operation. Main object of the project is the construction of junctions and the protection of projects that are consistent with the Environmental Terms (P.O) adopted for this project.
